Cat grass can be grown easily indoors with cat grass seed in little tubs for your kitten or cat to graze on.  For potting this plant, cover the seeds in soil and place the container in a sunny spot in your home, making sure to water it regularly. The seeds will start to sprout in a few days and should be ready for consumption within two weeks. It is not necessary to transplant the grass into a dish as your cat can graze directly from the garden pot.
